  1. This magazine demonstrates a lot of different techniques which attract the target audience of the magazine. The initial display of artists such as The Vamps and Bastille really emphasises the collective nature of the magazine, which opens itself up to reader interpretation. The directive address of the front page feature along with the halved layout of the double-page spread along with an entrancing medium close up draws the reader in, with the help of the unique black-and-white background incorporated. The target audience should be intrigued by this unique layout, but also by the bright flashes of colour which contrast it. The links to Facebook and Twitter stick with the modern aura of the genre. All in all, it is very expressive and eye-catching, portraying a collected and organised format which is contemporary as well as old-school.

  2. The magazine's front cover shows the audience what they are going to expect in the magazine. It has a very professional feel to it and I highly enjoy the style of the kickers you have used. I don't have a clue how you made the headline but it looks absolutely fantastic. The colouring you used for the front page also works together great. Then comes the double page and I must say you used the fonts really well, again making the whole page look professional, also the photography you used for the magazine fits perfectly. I love the way you used a neck of guitar for the contents page as makes the contents page look more interesting and once again, professional. Well done Cheryl
